The Purpose of the Arc

The purpose of the arc - the artistic line tracing the gradient between forms - is not an identification of the two poles: it’s a divination of the new through expounding and unraveling the difference between them.

The image is not directly the image of the Source or the Order of the Heavens and Earths, but rather the difference between this and the stains of the site - the smeared negatives of godly fingerprints. Or it’s the difference between conflicting accounts of the Source and Order which clash among themselves in shards of discord. It would seem it is a bit of both, and neither or ‘both and’ - again this is the source of the multiplicity of works, of history.

Philosophy as the self-understanding of the arc is the explication and systematization of the stakes involved in the endeavor. It is a reflective work providing rigor, fortitude and a support structure for faith.
